Hall & Wilcox is a leading independent Australian law firm of more than 750 people. It delivers outstanding legal services to corporate, the public sector, and private clients, both Australian-based and those offshore doing business in Australia.
Under the management of business development and marketing head Melanie Smith, Hall & Wilcox built a solid business development foundation. But the supporting CRM systems and activities were mostly confined within the business development/marketing team. The firm wanted to establish the use of client data throughout all activities—especially with its lawyers—as a way to improve client service, help nurture client relationships, and, ultimately, retain and win new business.
